With the belief that God is at work through the prayers of believers, an important aspect of the Commission’s work is to set up a system to encourage prayer during the entire process.

The Commission has reached preliminary positions on its 16 of the 17 issues under consideration. The Commission will receive additional input from the three panels supporting its work. Then, the drafting of the first report will begin with the delivery of the report to Senator Charles Grassley scheduled for late 2012. Please pray for wisdom for the Commission.

Facilitating the three-year Commission process creates an estimated cost of $900,000 which must be funded by ECFA outside the regular budget. Over 70% of the Commission’s first year operating budget has been raised through contributions. Please pray that the remaining funds will be raised allowing the project to be completed in an effective manner.
